Beer Deal: Crate and Barrel Tulip Glass

Growing tired of faded and etched pint glasses? Feel like something a little classier for your brews, but don’t feel like dropping over $20 each on imported crystal glasses? Crate and Barrel has a sale on that might interest you.
UPDATE 9/2012: This deal is expired, and these glasses are no-longer available from Crate & Barrel.
The Crate & Barrel Bruges 16 oz. beer glass is currently on-sale for over 40% off their usual price of $6.95 each. The glasses are not the highest quality, but they are made in Germany and on-par with the typical brewery-branded tulips you can find in gift-shops. At only $3.95 each it is easy to stock-up for your next party or tasting event, and you don’t have to be too worried about breaking them.
The glasses are eligible for Crate and Barrel’s current $4.95 flat-rate shipping deal, as are the rest of their beer glassware collection (which also features a $3 American Nonic Pint Glass). The glasses are also available in-store, but they are close-out items so don’t wait too long to take advantage.
We recently purchased a half-dozen for use at the Beer of Tomorrow HQ, and we can confirm that they feel nice in the hand and hold a full pint of suds.

That’s a great deal! I have a bunch of these glasses. They are pretty sturdy, but even if they break a replacement is only a few bucks away. Good find!
I was just lamenting that my Fat Cat pint glasses are fading rapidly… these glasses don’t make me feel better about that though.
Now that i’ve been using these glasses for a few weeks I think my favorite part (other than the 16oz capacity) is the total lack of a depression at the bottom of the glass. It makes it so much easier to wash the glasses when there isn’t a divit filled with sticky dried beer!
