Wednesday Blues? These Events Will Help You Over the Hump

Los Angeles has a pair of great events happening tonight, featuring two of our very favorite breweries. If these don’t get you out of the house then we’re not sure what will!
Stone at Far Bar
Little Tokyo’s Far Bar is hosting Stone Brewing Co for a night of big beers and some live music on the patio! The big draw? Stone’s new 10th Anniversary Ruination on-tap! In addition to the new special release beer they’ll be pouring Stone’s Mixtape Vol 1, a crazy blended-beer made up from seven different Stone beers. We sampled the Mixtape at the Blue Palms FestivALE and it was extremely interesting. But the Ruination is the real draw here (and the possibility of a “very special keg” that Stone is bringing to the event!)
The beers start flowing at 6pm at Far Bar: 347 E 1st St. downtown.
Eagle Rock Brewing at Beer Belly
Beer Belly in Ktown is having a One Night Stand featuring Eagle Rock Brewery’s beers and the people behind them! They’ll be pouring all of Eagle Rock’s core beers plus Vanilla Solidarity on nitro (so so good), the Deuce anniversary brew, and their amazing Ginger Saison. If you really need another reason to head out to one of LA’s favorite craft beer spots, Beer Belly’s Duck Fries were just named to the 10 Best French Fries in LA by the LA Weekly. Duck. Fries.
Beer Belly opens at 5pm and the ERB taps are flowing until 1am: 532 S. Western Ave.
It’s Wednesday, and you deserve a beer.
We are going to make the daring attempt to hit both events, and we hope to see you there!

I have been WAITING FOREVER for the Ginger Saison! I hope I still like it!
Sean from Beer Search Party liked it when I asked about this new batch, though he said the ginger was pretty mild.
