This time last year I was feverishly at-work building this site and writing the initial library of content. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year, and it amazes me how far the site has come in that time. Read on for a few notes about why it’s been more quiet than usual around these parts and for an announcement about our first anniversary!
First up, let me apologize for the slowing pace of updates on the site. In addition to some pesky real-life issues that have been consuming more time that usual, I’ve been busy with some new professional responsibilities.
About a month ago the Food Editor for the Los Angeles Times approached me about covering beer for their newly emphasized Daily Dish blog. The site is the on-line companion to the printed Food section of the paper, and it covers everything from restaurant reviews — including some pieces written by a personal hero, and Pulitzer Prize winning writer, Jonathan Gold — to food-related television. I jumped at the opportunity to get my writing in front of so many more eyeballs, and I’m posting a few times a week for them.
You can find all my posts on the times via this link, and here are a few highlights of my short run so far:

I’m having a blast writing for the times, and I hope that you’ll check out my work over there. (You can follow @LATimesFood for all the Daily Dish updates in your Twitter feed.)

Save The Date
Beer of Tomorrow’s official first anniversary is March 28th, and we’ll be hosting some events to celebrate our first year. The biggest and best of these events will be the party that our friends at Beer Belly are throwing us!
We’ll be revealing more details soon, but save the date for Saturday March 30 because the Beer of Tomorrow crew will be taking over the taps at Beer Belly and pouring our very favorite brewed-in-LA beers! We’re working on the tap list, sourcing kegs, and working on a few other surprises.
It’s going to be a blast and we hope that all of our fans and supporters can make it out to share a beer with us! Cheers!
