Beer Paper LA is a new publication that is covering the craft beer scene in LA, OC, and the IE; the first issue will be available at your favorite bottle shop or beer bar starting in May.
I’m also excited to share that I’ll be contributing to Beer Paper LA, and I’ve got two pieces running in the inaugural issue which should be available beginning May 7th at the launch Party!
Focused on building “a stronger, larger, more cohesive craft beer community in greater Los Angeles” co-publisher and Executive Editor Aaron Carroll discussed the goals of the magazine in an interview with Food GPS:
We want to educate beer curious people throughout the region about beer in general and about Greater LA craft beer makers and retailers in an approachable, comfortable way. We want to help to start and shape a conversation about the direction and future of craft beer in LA. We want to announce and help promote special events that promote our local scene.
Aaron has pulled together an impressive list of talent from across LA and OC, and we are excited to see the results in the first edition!
You can check out the on-line coverage from the BPLA team to tide you over until the ink-on-paper edition is available, and “like” BPLA on Facebook or follow them on Twitter for all the updates leading up to the first edition.
