Want to get a first taste of Eagle Rock Brewing’s new beer Threes, a strong ale brewed with rye brewed to commemorate their third Anniversary? The beer will be pouring at the first of the new-and-improved “One Night Stands” at Beer Belly on Wednesday January 23rd!
Last year Beer Belly started an ongoing series of tap-takeovers by local breweries known as One Night Stands. The events gave the local producers a chance to show off their brews and connect with their fans, and this year the program is expanding and improving.
2013’s line-up of participating breweries is impressive, and fans of local craft beer have another incentive to visit Beer Belly during the events: Beer Belly is giving those who attend 10 of the 12 monthly events an “EPIC gift.” Here’s what owner Jimmy has to say about the incentive:
Yes…that is a lot of events, but that’s how serious we are about this. This package will include all sorts of goodies…including an invitation to join an unreal special program that we will be introducing at the end of the year.
You DON’T want to miss this.

The first of the events is this Wednesday (January 23rd) when Eagle Rock Brewery takes over the Beer Belly taps with this impressive list of brews:
- Threes (3rd Anni. beer)
- Deuce (2nd Anni. beer)

- Tarte Noir (Solidarity soured in red wine barrels)

- Populist IPA (on Nitro)
- Populist IPA

There’s a very nice post on the Beer Belly tumblr that expresses how important Eagle Rock Brewery has been to Beer Belly, and many people in LA’s craft beer scene share these feelings towards Eagle Rock Brewery. The crew from Eagle Rock have been trail-blazers for craft beer in Los Angeles, and we are exited to celebrate their continued success with them on Wednesday!
You can also celebrate Eagle Rock’s 3rd Anniversary at the official party at Verdugo Bar on Saturday, January 26th! From noon until 4pm $15 gets you admission to the celebration, two beers, and a glass to take home, and the tap-list is about as epic as it gets with 22 of your favorite ERB brews pouring.
Beer of Tomorrow will be at both Eagle Rock events this week, and we hope to see you there!
