*Update 11/1/12* The batch is ready and now pouring in the tap room, and it is really tasty! Brewmaster Jeremy thinks it is their best batch yet siting the new infusion method that they used leading to a cleaner coffee flavor. Get some! 

Judging from the noise on Twitter from the Eagle Rock Brewing crew this morning it looks like they’re once again at-work on one of their more esoteric and cult-favorite beers: Stimulus.

The Belgian amber ale is spiked with freshly roasted Flecha Roja coffee sourced from one of the pioneers of artisanal coffee roasters: Intelligentsia, and the result is a lighter coffee beer that doesn’t steam roll the nuanced flavors of the high quality coffee with roasted malts.

We managed to miss every batch of Stimulus that Eagle Rock has brewed and have only managed a handful of tastes over the years. This is one beer we’re very much looking forward to, and it will be hitting the Taproom on November 1st!
