New Beer From Golden Road Brewing
Today Golden Road Brewing announced their newest brew: Golden Road Berliner Weisse! Berliner Weisse are traditional German wheat beers from Berlin that are intensely sour and very refreshing. They are excellent thirst quenchers, and the Golden Road version should be great summer session beer as it is only 2.9%abv. In Berlin the beer’s tartness is often cut with a sweet syrup flavored with either raspberry (“himber“) or Woodruff (“Waldmeister“) and the Golden Road Pub will have these syrups available to add to your Weisse when the beer launches tomorrow at the Golden Road Tap Take-Back.
(Ed. Note: The beer, originally called “Von Carpenter” has been changed to “Golden Road Berliner Weisse.” The post has been updated to reflect the change.)
In celebration of American Craft Beer Week, the taps at the Pub are going to be devoted to Golden Road’s stable of beers, and never have more of their beers been available at one time! They should have almost everything that they’ve brewed in the past year on-tap, including a Beer of Tomorrow favorite: Valentin Blood Orange Saison! Also pouring are:
- Point the Way IPA
- Golden Road Hefeweizen
- Get Up Offa that Brown
- Either Side of the Hill
- Schwartz Stout
- El Hefe Añejo
- B3 (Bourbon Barrel Brown)
- Hudson Porter
- Lost Its Way (cask)
- Get Up Offa that Brown (cask)
We are not going to miss this event, and we hope to see you there!

We tried this last night at the GRB Tape Take-Back and it was pretty great! When they say sour they mean SOUR! A really different beer, more details to-come this afternoon in our recap of the event.
