Word is that both Stone Brewing Co and Firestone Walker Brewing are introducing a new packing option for some of their most-loved beers.
Two beers previously only available in kegs and 22oz bottles are getting the 12oz bottle treatment and will be sold in 4-packs starting this summer!
Next-up, Paso Robles’ Firestone Walker tweeted the news that their Double Jack Double IPA, the extra-hoppy version of their Union Jack IPA (known as “Bear vs Lion: Red” around the Beer of Tomorrow HQ), is also being released in 4-packs. They included this picture of the very classy Proprietor’s Reserve 4-pack:
Both of these beers are exceptional, but we don’t end up buying them very often as we find that 22oz can be a little overwhelming for the palate. They are best to split, but now that they are coming out in single-serving 12oz bottles we won’t have to share!
There is no information available on how much the new 4-packs will retail for, but We’d expect to see them in the $10-$12 range.
What beers that are only currently available in 22oz bottles would you like to see get the 4-pack treatment?
