Rob LiCalsi writes on his beer blog Beer Hates Me about his recent experience of trying both of Russian River Brewing’s lauded IPAs, Pliny the Elder and Pliny the Younger, within a day. While not an unheard of feat, those are certainly two bucket-list beers for any craft beer fan! Rob was amazed at how drinkable the Younger, a 10.5%abv tripple IPA, was, but he still cautions against buying into the hype surrounding the ultra-rare beer too much.
