Still struggling with the time-change? Can’t believe it is only Wednesday? Skip the cooking and the chores tonight; there are plenty of beery events going on to entertain you. Craft beer is here to help. You deserve it!
It’s already looking like a long week, and there are still two more days after today before the weekend. Nobody is going to question your decision to go out for a restorative craft beer or three, and tonight is a great night for it with your pick of events around town!
Golden Road Brewing
Controversial Chicagoland craft brewery Goose Island will be visiting Golden Road and pouring seven of their newly national beers. This is a good chance to try many of the GI beers in one spot, as well as the new menu items at the pub.
Additionally the pub will be screening the classic western The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly on the lawn starting at 7pm! Like Tuco says in the film, “If you work for a living, why do you kill yourself working?” You deserve a break!
Tony’s Darts Away & Mohawk Bend
After grabbing a glass or two fo Goose Island Beers you can grab on the LA Beer Hop shuttle that runs between Golden Road, Tony’s Darts Away, and Mohawk Bend every Wednesday in November. Check out the schedule and reserve your spot; at just $5 it is tough to beat!
If you make it out to Mohawk Bend, via Beer Hop Bus or not, don’t miss their fan-favorite Brussel sprouts on their new fall menu! They go great with some of the Belgian Pale Ales that are on tap at Mohawk right now. You can also catch a set by the funk/soul outfit The Rugged Nuggets at 9:30.
Stout Burgers Hollywood
Starting at 7Pm tonight Stout in Hollywood will be pouring some special beers from Salt Lake’s Epic Brewing with one of the brewers. Epic has exploded in California and this is a great chance to try some of their more exclusive beers (like Brainless on Cherries – a golden Belgian ale aged in barrel with cherries, and one of our favorite pumpkin beers.)
You don’t feel like cooking tonight anyways, why not grab one of our favorite burgers and a couple of beers? Beer always tastes better when you can chat with the people who made it.
Our pick of the night would have to be the One Night Stand at K-Town’s Beer Belly featuring more than a dozen beers from Ladyface Ales! Another fantastic opportunity to meet the people behind the LA beer you’re drinking, the One Night Stands are always a good time.
Beer Belly is also running a canned food drive before Thanksgiving, and you can bring in a can to get a $1 pint!
Get out of the house and go play! You deserve it.
